    Comfy as in "soft"

Or comfy as in "firm and well designed"?

I like the feel of the stock seat, its just too short!

    Advise please!

If you are on the fence, go for it. The guts seat (Medium foam) is fantastic!! I do not care much for the looks, but the quality of the cover is great, and it is quite comfy both in foam firmness and the comfort of being in a better riding position. Here is my setup. I would probably go with the black cover if I had to do it again, but that is just me.

so on those you have to buy the foam and the cover, pull your old one, and use the base and reskin it and all that stuff?

supposedly SDG is coming out with one this year(guy at the shop promised)...i'm patiently waiting and been riding with a broken seat for about 7months
    ...i hit stuff...

sdg has told us they will make a seat for the 450x then you talk to someone else there and they say they won't be making one. then you talk to the same people on a different day and the story has changed yet again. so i'm not sure if they will nor not.

right now guts is the only solution. yes, you have to use the stock seat foundation, and "build" the new seat with the guts foam and their cover. we carry both if you're looking for them.

that's kinda the story i got also...the problem is i actually crashed hard enough to brake the tabs off the base and crack it in half...so i am SOL...it's like 150 for seat and then the reskining and etc...

    i don't want a 300 dollar seat...

Keep an eye on Ebay...Once in a while you'll catch a seat pan or complete seat cheap.

Steve, Did you reroute the brake line yet? If not, that should be one of the first things that you do. Before the LSD though!

    Yeah I did.

I have to change that pic before everyone thinks I'm crazy!

It still looks like a Twizzler though. I need to un-do the caliper in order to get it proper.

For now at least it's not on the outside.
