    Cycra mount options with Scotts/Submount/WoodsLo

I recently got the Scotts/submount kit and WoodsLo Protapers. Both are extemely nice.

Everything is mounted up, but the triple clamp mounting system on my Cycras is nowhere close to fitting correctly:

I believe this is due to a combination of the submount height as well as the narrow bar setup. I could drill new mount holes and force the handguards on but they won't protect my hands much:

Has anyone tried the Bonz mounts?

Opinions? Suggestions? Am I better off getting the articulating Cycra mounts? What about "The Solution"?

The far superior Enduro Engineering bolt right up no problems.

It looks like they would require new inboard holes with the really narrow bars.
I'd call Cycra ,they are very helpful on the phone,if they make a version for minis maybe that'd bolt right up.
There is hardly anything 'superior' about EE handguards.
All handguard require a certain amount of 'forcing' on,beause of the wide variety of handlebar bends, widths, different sweeps, etc. That's why to mount any hand guard you START every screw first, then tighten them up and align them only after every screw is started, just a couple threads. Those though look like they would require new inboard mounting holes to work, what are those bars, like only 30" or so ?
I've had EE's, have a pair hanging in the garage, and I've personally seen EE handguards ruined, just like I've seen Cycras and Acerbis wadded too. They all did their jobs, too.
That'a a tired and untennable arguement. Doug

I had the same problem. I used a vise and reshaped the handguards. Opening up the bend just a little made them fit fine.
