1st brake pad installation.

Does the original shim, between the back of the pad and thin metal holder, get reused or just discharged with new pads?

The EBC pads anyhow tell you not to use those insulators, but the OEM pads you should use them I guess.
I'm not sure about some of the other brands. Doug
