The reason that you hear as much as you do about Twin Air filters is the fire retardant feature. Once you remove the backfire screen, it is a very good idea to add that feature. I don't know a thing about White Brothers filters, but if they don't offer that feature then they aren't as good as the Twin Air for the obvious reason.

White Bros filters are made by UNI. They are single stage open cell foam.

Go with everybodys Twin Air recommendations. The best in protection for you engine.

Does everyone here tighten the Napalm screw with a wrench (pliers) or do you guys just hand tighten it?

If you go too tight it will rip the rubber grommet on the top of the filter. Don't ask me how I know this! And that was without a wrench! If you have already ripped one, Twin Air will send you free replacements.

I believe that this is the one if you are going to use the stock cage.

    Personally,

I would only use that filter with the Twin Air cage on my 250R or maybe my 450R if the number crosses over.

If I were buying it for my 450X with the stock cage I would go with this one:

    Just sayin...

Hope I didn't bore him to death...
