they're actually pretty comfy. they are good quality. i took out the metal front of the boot since i dont need it and because i'd scratch up my bike's case.

the best part about the boots is that they were free :) when i got the X i was told that i could do a $250 shopping spree in the dealers goodies dept. :D not to mention the gloves, goggles, camel back etc.

Good eye OFG. His chain is a little tight.

I think I'm gonna get thor boots next. My Astar T6s are like riding in casts! I could stand a little less protection to be able to actually move my feet

I sure don't recall hearing many complaints about Alpinestars before ... sure been happy with them myself. I had a pair of Answers before that were horrible ... NEVER got comfortable.

Same here, I have the Tech 6's and they are fine. I keep the buckles snug, not tight, but snug... probably more of a loose fit than most would prefer.

I run the Thor boots and I like them. I don't think they are anywhere near the A-stars or Gaerne boots in terms of design or construction, however they are comfy as hell and give me plenty of protection. They are also the only ones I could find that fit my calves.
