    what skidplate to buy?

    what skidplate are you guys running? i am looking for a beefy plate that protects the frame down tubes and covers up the engine and clutch cover. i have been lookin at the flatland and works connection plates and am wondering which one is prefered for protection

    I went with the Flatland and love it however, I think you'd be good with either. Comes down to $ and which one them you like better as far as "looks."

    I went with e-line carbon fiber. Only because I got it cheap on e-bay. It has taken on some huge logs! very very durable, and very very light. OFG

    Yep, ned has it right. I liked the look of the WC but almost 200 bucks is too much. Flatland plate fits great, good quality, less than 1/2 the price.

    I have a flatland and love it. There are some minor oil filter clearance issues, nothing that some channel locks and elbow grease can't cure. Took all of 1 minute. Lots cheaper, but, not quit as pretty. If "pretty" is worth $200 buck to you, by all means...

    I go with whatever looks good at rockymountainatv.com. Three different skids and all of them work great. Best prices anywhere.
