These are great off-road pants Smash. The over the boot cut keeps my feet dryer in water crossings. Plus, you will really appreciate the convenience of having a few pockets.

I have a shorter inseam, but I like the THor Ride pants. They are great for all weather as they are seriously waterproof, plus they have vents on the thigh for warm weather riding. They have large pockets as well. Also, check out the Klim pants.

I too like the Klim's. Seem to be very durable and quite comfortable.

I had a pair of the static I bought here, and they were high waters to say the least. When I'd sit on the bike you could see the top buckle on my boot....

Aren't they ? I though that was gimmicky, but I use the feature a lot.

What gives there Smash, do you have the bottom section zipped on ?
Really man, mine come down to my ankles and I'm 6'5" and use all the yardstick for the inseam length !
I wonder if you get mismarked ones or something, because I was very pleasantly surprised by the length of these things. Doug

Well I'm a 38 waist, maybe you guys had bigger waists?

As for the short part, I'd never ride in just shorts, that pipe gets way too hot.
