    Hey guys,

    Some feedback is in order.

My X is such a pleasure now - starts right up, engine feels great. The gearing is very low (13 / 51) - so not going too fast, but thats plenty enough for serious fun offroad. It has so much power in top gear still, so it's pretty cool for just playing around in the mountain.
I got a set of motard wheels with tyres for a great price from a fellow rider that is a straight fit on the X, so swopping over between motard and off road setup takes around 45minutes.

Will make a plan to get some decent pics up soon!

Sweet , Glad to hear your finally enjoying your bike !!

Though i dont ride mine on the street , i gear mine 13/52 , and it still will get up to about 75 mph , so IF you have any issues off road you can gear it down more without worry of it not having top speed , and since you have separate motard wheels you can gear those accordingly for just street

Even better if is starts like that cold the valves must be in good nick. I have brought bikes in the past that wouldn't start only to have a fuel problem that was easily fixed.

    Enjoy the bike now!!

It starts,it runs,it gets to where all CRFs can get to without the valve or valve plate dramas

I've uploaded a couple of pics to my garage:

Only thing I still need to do is brake maintenance - brakes just slows you down - right ;)
Nah, I've ordered a brake adapter to run my 320mm Goldspeed rotor for when in motard guise, and new pads F & R. Also decided that once the pads arrive, I'll replace brake fluid in both lines and mount the pressure switches for the brake light.

Last night I mounted my speedo and made a cool mounting bracket for the sensor on the bottom of the fork. Also tidied up all my wiring under the headlight shroud.

Now to find plastics locally and bolt on a keyed or secure electronic ignition switch, and then for the roadworthy and plating...
