When I walked into Pro Italia in Santa Barbara, all the talk was about the 1098, of course. Guys wanting to get rid of their 999Rs. Pro Italia was allotted x number of the base, the S, and the limited tri-color S. The first question I asked was "Are you guys marking these things up???" "Nope." They were selling them at MSRP, $15K for the base model. Whew, what a big chunk out of my daughter's college fund!! I would really have to sell my 65 Shelby clone (as the boss wife says). They already sold
ALL their allotted tri-colored S and S versions. They had 6 base versions left when I walked out.
