That site is closed .....Billy told me (the last time I ran into him out in the desert)that he is in the process of merging it with the District 37 website.

Totally off the subject, but it's killin' me- On a reply to topic, how do I get the quote box to say "Dust Devil wrote" instead of the generic "Quote" that I keep getting?

Are you clicking the quote button in the upper right hand corner?? Should be automatic.

If not, make sure when you quote something, The [quote="that person's name"] looks like this.

Got it- thanks. I was missing that quote button because it's not visible on the screen- need to slide the bar to the right. I was hitting "reply to topic" first and than using the red quote button.

Ernie, Cabin fever must be getting to you. Your mind will clear as soon as you get back on your bike. By the way, how are you feeling? Not too long before you are back in the saddle? Ernie Pezz

It's like a trip to Mecca for me.

DD- Is this ride doable from Randsburg with a stock X tank? Looks like it's about 22+ GPS miles in a strait line. Where do you usually ride from?

Yes do able with the stocker, just make sure you top off at Johannesburg, I would highly reccommend a desert tank to anyone that rides the desert that does not have one, it's all about confidence and piece of mind.

Last year on Stupidbowl Sunday I rode Solo to the Husky from my garage....120 miles door to door, I used the stock tank and had no problems but I was stressing the whole time and I had no gas to explore the area, I had to do an immediate turn around and bee line it back to the gas station.
