Anybody this weekend at Rowher that heard my bike crank more than one second before starting or blow any smoke was inhaling some "smoke" of their own...my bike is spot-on. The rear tire, is another matter, the side is sliced open from a rock, MT-18HD on the way.

Hank, I had a new Dunlop 739AT on the rear at Rowher. I took it easy for a while until I got the feel of it. That thing hooked up really well in the hard pack and rocks. Barely could tell it was used when we got back down. You might consider that as an option when tire hunting. It is supposed to have an extra stiff sidewall for desert use.
