250r Fender on X

Will a 2009 CRF250R rear fender work on my 09 CRF250X?
Was hoping someone who had one would reply , but in the link below it says it can be done , but this info is not specific to a 09/09 , so not sure if it will be helpful , but according to the posts , it may be doable ..... Hope that helped ....
