    Can any one tell me how you could tell if the intake valves are stainless or titanium still?????

    just wondering.i just purchased a 04 crf 450r and wondering if it had stainless valves or not.

    If the head is off , you can tell by the color , Stainless is lighter in color than Titanium

    A magnet will not stick to Titanium at all

    the stock valves: intake titanium, exhaust low grade stainless.

    high grade stainless a magnet will likely not pick it up. on low grade stainless a magnet will.
