My right fork slider fell victim to a very shallow dent courtesy of hitting the odometer mount molded into the fork boot - yes, the thickness of the mount turned out to be strong enough to dent the pipe.

The dent is sufficient enough that it leaves a small amount of oil on the pipe when the seal passes so it must get replaced, unless I can get it fixed. From what I see by this site, these guys should be able to knock it out without little more effort than putting it in the jig, but it would be good to know if anyone else has used them.

As far as the dent, this shows the extent - pretty minor to the eye (no scratches, just a little dust from the rag)

    Thanks.
