not uncommon at all. amazon.com, the worlds largest e-tailer, doesn't provide a phone number either. we are very responsive to email and call many of our customers at their request or when electronic communication isn't providing the quality of service necessary. this method not only keeps overhead low, but for many provides a more convenient form of communication during working hours.

I wondered the same thing. I am holding up a order waiting on a reply from a question I had about another product I wanted to order. I just wanted everything on the same order.

    ordering w/out phone contact

    by ncj01 » Thu Sep 29, 2005 9:44 am

I am new to this site, and love it already.

I can also see the prices are very attractive, and I appreciate that. Wishing I would have found the site a few weeks earlier. I haven't done too much upgrading yet, so I'm still OK.

Anyway, I wish I had phone contact because I half don't know what I want/need. For instance, when we start talking about the Hot Cams, Kibble valves and springs, which engine gaurds are and are not compatible with which skid plates, if a hot start lever comes by itself or attached to an actual clutch lever, which size rear shock spring to buy for my weight, what oil to buy for my motor, what oil to buy to change fork oil, etc. etc. I get confused, don't know what I need, and could benifit from some one who knows a lot more than me.

I suppose when I'm ready to place the "big order" I'll write in with a request to call me.

Otherwise, looks great. This is my first post.
sorry ya'll, i've got back to the darkside...

    Guys,

Go to the 450X forum and post about Ken and his customer service. If you find anyone who doesn't claim his customer service to be the best in the industry I'll buy your parts for you!

Ken is the most responsive, customer-oriented merchant I've ever done business with and I'm including brick and mortar operations.

If you do need to talk to him just PM and give him a number. Ken has always called me to verify an order or to let me know something was shipped, backordered, etc. Absolutely no problems whatsoever contacting him and I've purchased approximately two grand worth of parts from him since about August.

Trust me, there are no worries here when you order. This isn't an eBay experience~!

    Ken,

Remember, I know all the scammers so I'll ignore their attempts to bamboozle. Besides, you know what a cheap b@st@rd I can be!
