    Few questions about fender bags

    by HitsOutdoors » Thu Jun 28, 2012 11:52 pm

Having recently gotten back into dirt biking with my sons I am constantly finding things Id like to add to our riding arsenal.Ive been taking full advantage of all of the technical information on the forum and wanted to do my part in supporting CRFs ONLY with some purchases.

Currently Im looking for a fender bag for my 450X and was hoping to get a suggestion on what would be best for me.Id like something that would hold my wallet, smoking pipe, tobacco pouch, lighter and maybe a 16 or 20 oz bottle of water. Id prefer to mount it on the rear fender if there is a rear mounter that will fill my needs. The riding I do would be considered mild by most guys standards but I still want a bag that mounts really securely and is durable.

I currently have a Moose Racing fender mount bag that I really like. It is primarily designed to carry tools but does have a water resistant zippered pouch to put your cell phone or wallet in.

I would recommend getting a camelbak drink system for your water and the fender bag for tools and such.

the dirt bike gear fender bags are excellent quality and come in two sizes:

the fastboy is the smallest fender bag, whouldn't hold your water but if you did get a hydration system the fastboy would likely be all you need:

as mentioned the moose bags are excellent too:

I decided on the 5 x 8 Dirtbike gear bag after getting home from working out of state and measuring my rear fender. Ordered it tonight..

    Thanks a bunch
