I bought the LoudMouthMX intake for my 250X: high quality product. Installation went very smoothly. I took the airbox completely off of the bike even though the instructions indicate this is not necessary. Now changing filters is a breeze. Performance increases? Hard to say cause I went from a 13/52 gearing to a 13/53. All I can say is the thing pulls much better all the way from the bottom to the top. How much of that is LoudMouth, if any, is hard to say.
