    Trouble with Shopping Cart

    by soonerfan85 » Sat Feb 16, 2008 5:38 pm

For the 2nd time in the past week after putting 6 or 7 items in my cart all the items disappear when the next item is added. :x

I'd like to order from this site but am getting very frustrated. Why is this happening?

Oh, and where can I find the CRF's Only stickers?

I too, had a little issue with my first order. I am unsure if it was the site or my ISP timing out on me. Before I could complete my error, I got a generic PHP error. I was able to hit the back button and re-submit it and it did go through...

Not sure if this is any help as I am not sure why I had the issue, lol!!!

    1. shopping cart issues: we test our online catalog daily for it's ability to add products to the shopping cart (17) and complete the checkout process. there hasn't been any issues in literally years. when customers bring issues like you mentioned to us it is either their ISP or their browser. without getting too technical the technology we use to identify a returning customer and maintain shopping cart information can be disabled or negatively influenced by browser settings (specifically security and privacy settings). In some cases ISP's or your employer's network can also negatively influence this as well.

    2. PHP errors: Often these errors are caused by intermittent network interruptions. It's highly unlikely that it would be a true PHP code issue as this same code is being used 24x7 by others as well as our own regular testing. So, if there was a true PHP code issue it would surface regularly. However, if you are seeing something that is repeatable please let me know.

Anytime you have any issues please email me ken at crfsonly dot com and I'll look into it for you.
