Right hand turns

I was riding on some sandy/gravelly trails this weekend. All the corners tended to be wide & flat. I noticed that I felt very confident in making LH turns -- left foot out; dragging rear brake slightly and plenty of throttle.
However, on the RH turns, I felt significantly less confident. Found myself slowing down way to much before the turn to avoid the sensation that the bike would wash out.
My question: What is the best technique for making RH turns on wide, sandy/gravelly flat corners?
Thanks for the help.

what i tend to do on flat corners is come in to the corner braking as late as possible with the back wheel, blip the throttle once to loosen the back tire, and power it around the corner in a controlled drift. It keeps your momentum while still allowing you to control your bike around the corner. It can be difficult to master but its a great technique when perfected. Easiest technique however, is to come into the corner, keeping your weight on the pegs, getting as close to the tank as possible. You have to trust in your tires. Just keep working on your method until you perfect it. Also, try not to brake during cornering. Its best to brake before you enter the corner.

I am by no means 'qualified' to answer this question by have tons of experience but here's something that I found that helps me greatly.
I found the same problem with me and right turns until I applied some of my street experience. I used my eyes and relied on them. The last few times I've been out in the dirt I've been concentrating on my eye taking me where I want to go. It helped my right turns like you wouldn't beleive.
Just my 2 cents
