Loading / Unloading from Pickup

    I would try to park on soft dirt or gravel. Do a brake torque to spin the tires and let it sink a little (not too much to get stuck). This will help lower the tailgate alittle. I would put the bike stand next to the tail gate, and ramp. Get a running start and use the stand a a step so it easier to get in. Thats what I do now. For some reason, I don't remember having to do this 10 years ago :oops:

    I'm not even gonna get into how I've been sucessfully loading my bikes for more than 25 years. Every single time!!

    As far as unloading. Just set it up close to the side as you back out. I always stay close to the drivers side. Use your hand brake and step off onto your stand or a sturdy milk crate, and continue down. Dont stop. Let gravity be your friend. Also if you can find a spot where your tailgate sits lower than street level. Even backing up to a curb or anything resembling, will help make the drop less extensive. Once you've done it a couple times. You'll get comfortable. Also try to use the buddy system the first couple times. Grab a friend, wife, girlfriend, neighbor.
