This is the replacement for the CRF230F. Before I get flamed....I still have the '06 450R and don't intend on getting rid of it at all. Anyway, it'll be fun to own a 2-smoker...never had one before. Was looking for something for my son, but also a good Harescramble/Enduro bike for myself. I think we'll be happy. We'll see..

Nice bike, my brother down in Kingman AZ just bought the 250 version. Thats the KTM he is riding in the video I sent. It did pretty damn good in the volcanic pea gravel. He loves it, though he put some kind of exhaust on it, sticks out about even with the rear fende though. Really nice to rip off when you wreck.

I've got a KTM 550 2 stroke and I love it. It's still on the original top end (from 1994!!!). And for anyone that thinks a CRF450 is fast in a straight line, or even a CR500 for that matter - I invite you to take a ride on this beast!
KTM's are great bikes (and so are smokers!), enjoy the hell out of it!

Now, now, don't go getting water in your pre-mix!

I suppose, if forced to, I could be convinced to throw a leg over a 300XC, and maybe even give it a small corner in my garage... but only if my 450X approves!

Well, I must admit...my 450R was not very happy at all when the new gal showed up. I had to have a long talk with her and do some serious convincing that she is my first love and I won't let any other woman come between. Had to promise some new Cycra ProBends and a new shorty clutch lever and a seat rub every tuesday and...
