Who out there has switched from a 250F to a 450F or vise versa, were you glad you did it or did you regret it? what are the positives & negatives and what type riding to you do (track or trail)?

I keep switching back and forth 250X - 450X - XR650L
tight technical trails
short term = an hour or two I am equally fast on 250 and 450, after a loop on the 650 they both feel like pedal bikes
long term the lil'one is easier to handle
very, very seldom I wish the lil'one had more grunt

I switched from a YZ250 to a CRF450 and absolutely love it, but then my fellow racers said I could be even faster on a CRF250 I did not believe this but had to give her a shot. At first I liked the 250f, but that was on a supercross style track , then I tryed out the 2 mile MX track The 250f has nothing on my 450 I use 2-3 and maybe 4th if I'm feeling snappy. But on the 250f I use them all except for 1st. I kinda liked slapping through the gears but it got old real fast. The 450 is all around awesome. Now that I've been riding it for 2 years I wouldn't go back to anything else
