Is there any way to adjust the stock suspension to be a little more forgiving? Not being a racer I'm not sure but my 50lb. 8 year old appears to be hitting pretty hard when he lands. Seems to hit hard and then takes a few seconds to recover. Thanks for any help.

There is no adjustment in the rear other than a stiffer spring. In the front you could add fork fluid to you max level. IF that did not help a heavier weigh fluid will help a bit more. Finally you would have to re spring the front as well.
Is he on a 50 or a 70?

Is your kid on a 50 or a 70? If he is on a 50, there is no fork oil. It's just springs and grease. I just redid my sons suspension. I went with applied racing heavy duty fork springs and an Ishock light rear shock. The light is rated for up to 150lbs. It is adjustable too. Good luck

If it's a 50 you're talking about, definitely go with the ishock, 1" longer fork tubes, and the 1" longer fork springs. Don't get the applied springs unless you want really stiff front suspension. I went with the two brothers racing fork springs. (Little softer)

To answer your question for a 50lb rider no they don't make anything. My step son hits hard too. The option is either to get a 2-stroke 50 or save your money and put him on a 65 soon. The second is our plan, just have him deal with it until then.
