    2004 CRF 70 Engine/Oil Filled with Gas

I opened the oil cap to check the levels of oil and when I opened it up it was pouring out gas. Is there just a blown head gasket or is this something else?

More than likely you have the fuel petcock turned on and the needle and seat leaked fuel past from a dried and worn needle tip. Common problem on any carb bike. Oil and filter change is required. You can get by with just turning off the petcock every time the engine is shut off until the rubber needle is replaced.

By rubber needle do you mean just replace the petcock or what rubber needle are you referring to? Thanks for your original response to my question.

I am referring to the needle and seat assy. That is what stops fuel flow when the fuel floats " float" up. It is the small bullet shaped thing that drops out of the "seat" when you take the floats out. The rubber tip becomes hard and loses it's seal allowing fuel to keep going onto the bowl. The result is fuel going into the engine and cylinders. That results into fuel leaking past the rings and ending up int the engine oil.
    Hope that clarifies the discussion.

Could be a load of crud has come out of the tank and is prevent the needle closing on the seat if you are lucky. Same result fuel keeps running through.
You might get lucky by removing float bowl off the carby and cleaning/checking.
It has to come off anyway if the needle requires replacement.

Might be worth cleaning tank out with fresh fuel and checking fuel tap filter hasn't melted from old age/ fuel issues before reinstalling.
