It's a little end cap for your stock exhaust that replaces the stock spark arrestor. I just installed two of them on my kid's 50's combined with opening up the air boxes by drilling five 1/4" holes in the bottom of the air box and removing that silver plate. I then moved up the needle clip one position and both bikes seem to rev much quicker now. I was surprised at how well the bikes respond now. I'm sure a $300 exhaust would to better but for now this was a good $30 option. I figure I could spend the other $270 on a big bore kit and get more for my money.

Check out ministothemax.com for good tips on the little 50's. Also 50caliberracing.com seems to have good parts and prices compared to some of the others.

    Good luck with your fiddy.

    Later,
    John

we also have the thrust nozzle...you can use one or the other or both. here's a link to the nozzle:

basically they are opening up the exhaust while maintaining the correct amount of back pressure. increase performance in other words when used with a free flowing air filter and properly jetted.
