    Bent foot brake pedal

    by Blueskyline » Thu Nov 09, 2017 12:15 pm

    Hi All,

I just bought a 2011 CRF-50 for my son \:D/ and it has a bent foot brake pedal. It is bent so it is now under the motor and I wanted to know if I can bend it back to where it needs to be or do I need to buy a new one. If I need to buy a new one where do I start. I called a Honda dealer and they want $60 for it. #-o

    Thanks.

You should be able to bend it back, but I would take it off the bike in case the force needed breaks something else. Clamping it in a vise or similar. Take it slow and think about how it got bent And kind of do the reverse. Like a dent you don't start in the middle you work you way in.

It starts,it runs,it gets to where all CRFs can get to without the valve or valve plate dramas
