My son rides in a 50cc Trail class where the shifters must be removed. I stick it in 2nd gear for the race. Problem is keeping up with the PW50's on the straights. He can usually catch and pass them in the corners but can't seem to accelerate as fast coming out. Is there anything I can do to optimize 2nd gear to provide a little faster acceleration off the throttle without too much limit on the high end? Thanks.
