CRF's Only Forums

I have a 2006 CRF70 that has a leaking fork seal. I stopped by the local Honda dealer tonight and looked thru the tech manual on how to replace. They show two tools, one for removing the seal and one for inserting the new tool. Are the tools really necessary or can this be done by hand and patience? If the tools are necessary, any idea what the cost is for both?

I dont know if you can tap it in really carefully but a fork seal installer just makes it so easy, i have heard that you can use a piece of PVC pipe to drive the seals in.
