Okay, I'm sure that this has been asked a thousand times so before I get roasted I did search the site and came up with nothing that helped. I have a Clymer manual and it just seems vague on the adjustment of the automatic clutch. I my need to put a new clutch in the bike for my son, but I would like to be certain before I spend the money...

If I remember corerctly you loosen the the locking nut and turn the screw just until you feel pressure on it. the lock it down.

Thanks for replying. That is what I have done, but when I get to the point of resistance the adjustment screw feels like it is bottomed out. I was wondering if this was a sign that a new clutch was in my future. Any thoughts?

Hummm. Not entirely sure. If you have to go that far in than maybe. i know when I was adjusting my sons I didn't go in that far of coarse it was still a new bike. i'd check the service manual and see what it says. Or PM AS he is the all knowing of the Matrix
