I put a BBR upper clamp on my sons 2005 CRF 70. While it fits, the only way it fits is if you slide the forks up in the clamps about 10mm. This has to do with the fac that the stock upper is essentially a plate that attaches with bolts that screw down into the fork tubes... The BBR upper uses pinch bolts like any big-bike clamp. To get the clamps around the tubes, the forks must be slid up 10mm.
10mm is a lot the way I see it. I'll make sure I'm not missing something after I talk to BBR later today. But I didn't expect to be forced to change the handling just to add a clamp that would raise and move the bars forward.
BTW.. this BBR clamp only raises the bars 6 or 7mm.
Anyone else have any experience with this BBR product?
