    Tips for lowering crf70

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had any tips for lowering my sons 06' crf70f? I think he would a little more confident with an extra inch or two. Any info would be appreciated.

You can put on the stock rear shock from a CRF 50.

That will lower it about two inches.

Available on E-Bay for ten bucks.

Guys who pit bike the 50's change the shock first.

Thanks for the tips...again. I feel like I should just have your number on speed dial, it would save me a lot of time. Seriously, thanks.

Anyways, I went a little drastic last night since we were going out to Ocotillo today. I used a turkey cutter and took off a good two inches from the seat. It was one cut so I can glue it back on when he needs it.

He did really well, better than I thought. He got a little cocky in the PM and had a nice tank slapper and ate some sand. I was behind him and it looked worse than it really was.
