    Foresthill closed?

    by keviwa » Wed Mar 29, 2006 11:56 am

Just read on the tt forum that Forrest hill was closed till May 29th! Can anyone confirm this or know why? Does this apply to both red and green riders?

Hey Kev, I cannot confirm this as I have never seen Foresthill officially closed. But this time of year I do not bother even to consider it because it is usually under 3 feet of snow. with the weather forecast it looks like not much riding in my two favorite spots georgetown or foresthill. Next week I am going to try out Carnegie weather permitting. I have never been there but it is only 1 1/2 hours away from Sacramento. It might be muddy but it won't be snowing.

Carnegie is all grey clay and turns to snot when it's the least bit wet. Its all up and down hills so good luck if you go. I'm sticking Prairie city until things dry out some.

Carnegie is pretty cool but Stonyford has the best riding IMO
