over the hill gang motocross club held their final national at tulare cycle park last weekend! it turned into a 3 moto format ( 1 race saturday and 2 races sunday) because of the rain we got friday into saturday morning but when it dried up, the track was groomed and prepped to perfection! i'm happy to say that i came away injury free for the weekend (always a good thing) in the 45+ novice class with a 10th place(i fell) in moto 1, an 11th in moto 2(bad start) and a 7th in moto 3 for a 9th overall outta 16 riders. i love ridin my 40lb heavier crf450x n beatin half the other field on their full race bikes! ha ha ha!

great job! i know how you feel racing an "off-road" bike against the moto guys. i once gated on a street legal XR400R! the riders next to me both poked fun...i replied with no worries boys i'll make sure to use my blinkers when passing you. no surprise i was dead last to the first turn out of the gate. finished in the top third.

now i gotta switch to my street tires for the supermoto races this weekend at the international motorcycle show at the san mateo county fairgrounds! open beginner class!
