Planning to go, but not riding in it. Just got out of a cast, and still a bit painful to ride. Trust me, I've tried!! :P

    29 Palms GP report.

I'm a little late with the race report, oh well.
My bro ran the Vet nov race 10 and did about his usual, middle of the pack. He was 5th coming out of the 1st turn and at the end of the race was 6th out of 11 in class. Not bad, lose only one position in a hour race. He dropped and stalled on the last lap, just after the mud hole and before the logs in the enduro cross section. It took one minute to refire but that is were he lost that one place. This was his first race on his CRF250R with the complete suspension redo by RG3. We rode this bike in the Sun morning team race and WOW! With my 200 lb frame on it and the Scott's steering damper I could slam into the braking bumps alot faster and barely feel them 8)
I ran the Sen Nov race 11. Somehow I managed to screw up a dead engine start on an electric start bike   Each time I reached for the button I was cracking the throttle open by mistake! Doh!! So I was 30th out of 33 going into the 1st turn :? This was one of the fastest races I have been in for a long time. I had the 450 in top gear, throttle pinned and topped out in 2 different places on the track,( OK, one was the pavement section but the other was a long choppy sand wash section!). I ended up 18th out of 33 and 37th out of 90 overall. This was only my 3rd race on my new 450X. I'm sure I'll figure out the starts shortly,(this is my 1st electric start dirt bike).
The next Big6 GP will be at LACR next month. It should be short, fast, and full of moto stuff! See you there.
