    Unadilla Results...

I wasn't there nor was I able to listen to the race so I don't know what happened but here are the surprising results:

    1. Ricky (no surprise)
    2. Kevin
    3. Milsaps
    4. Reed

James must have crashed out of the first moto or perhaps didn't even race. He was 40th in both motos. Reed finishing 4th in both motos is a bit of a surprise. It's great to see Kevin back on the podium in second place. Milsaps is a man! As you've seen he has been able to run the pace of Ricky and James but not for the entire race. More conditioning and time on the 450 will change this.

    In the lites:

    1. Vilipoto
    2. Short
    3. Alessi

Ryan now has a 3 point lead over Alessi. I really like this kid! It's great to see Shorty in second over Alessi.

i just learned that james crashed during practice and suffer yet another concussion. as a result he did not race.

as one who has suffered many severe concussions i'm concerned about the number and frequency of the concussions he's suffered. concussions have an accumlative effect and i'm sure he, his family, and his team are concerned as well.

here's hoping he recovers and does what it takes to stay healthy.

I waited to read this until after I saw the race.

Millsaps got the hole shot both races and it took Rickey a while to get around him. Rickey even commented on how good he was riding during his interview.

Chad, Rickey and Buba all wrecked during practice. Chad hurt his knee but raced anyway.

As far as Buba goes he had better calm down or he is going to take himself out of the sport. I thought he had learned his lesson towards the end of the indoor season but now he's back to the same way he was riding last year. They did not show the wreck but they did show him sitting in the middle of the track trying to shake it off.
