Daytona - March 5

after Atlanta's last lap drama with Reed and Stewart, Daytona is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated supercross races in years. fortunately for those of us who won't be there in person it will be televised live on Speed TV.
so, weigh in...who are your picks are and why.

450's
1st. Reed-has momentum and has always done good at daytona
2nd. Villipoto-points leader and wants the championship
3rd. Dungey-been riding pretty solid lately
4th. Canard-good season so far except for a few crashes
5th. Windham-its Kdub so no need to explain
-Stewart is going to crash and end up in the back of the pack.

excellent picks and sound reasoning for sure. the track looks pretty tough...another Ricky Carmichael design. lots of places to get into another rider or go down on your own.

here are mine:
1. JS7
2. RV2
3. RD1
heck, any of the top five could win this one but i think with it being more of an outdoor MX track it favors JS7 and RV2.

heat 2 results:
1. Stewart, 2. Milsaps, 3. Roczen, 4. Reed
James laid it down in a turn and was able to come back to win the heat. he was hanging it out! after the start Chad was 12th and came from behind to get 4th. the track is incredible. plenty of places to pass and the obstacle are very difficult. main is going to be awesome!

incredibly Stewart was able get back on and finish the race...not just finish but race it finishing 9th.
