Predictions for the final round of Supercross...

    by Asmith » Fri May 01, 2009 7:19 am

Let's hear it...what's gonna happen Saturday night??

Will rain and wind be a factor?

    Who's better in the mud?

Will Alessi try to take out James?

Stewie cleans up regardless. Chad has a good race, but falls and can't catch up. Windham gets 3rd...

Stewart is going run away with the title. Reed is a distant 2nd, and afterward will complain about something. Probably wine about his tummy hurting from the Swine flu or his panties bunched up from last week still. I've got a lot of respect for Chads riding ability, he just needs some personality help still. I hope Alessi knows better than to put any kind of takeout move on anyone. Remember that Glen Helen thing with Tedesco? I know he does. I'm wishing Short on the low step of the podium, he needs a good season ender, and typically does well in Vegas. However it ends up, all the riders put on a good show this year, something our sport needed.

As usual i'm going with Stewart !

He has the talent , he has the focus and he wants this title !

Reed will try some hack move like usual(he even hinted at it at Salt Lake) since that is the ONLY way he can win against Stewart..** and another reason he needs to be black flagged immediately if he pulls one of his hack moves, and stripped of the points he has that he doesn't deserve in the first place**(just my opinion)

Windham does well on fast tracks , so i'm seeing him either 2nd or 3rd, if the loser falls

Shorty or RV could also be a factor...and Alessi can't be counted out for a podium

but if they do the flat track corners(i havn't looked at the track layout yet) then Loser Reed will be fast in the sweeper corners , but i was hoping someone has a bag of marbles to take to the races to accidently drop in front of Reed when he gets into that section ;) ....*I will buy the marbles !!!* , or any off-duty cops got any spike strips to throw out there?? , just throw them out and pull them back in before anyone notices ...he he..

    1} Stewart
    2} Reed-or-Windham
    3} Short/RV/Alessi

    Other possible Senario
1} Reed*because he took Stewart out*
2} Stewart *Comes from dead last because Reed took him out as usual, fights back to 2nd and still retains the points lead*
3} Lawrence *pays off AMA , races and accidently takes out Reed and everyone else except Stewart , becomes second in points due to atrition . Reed cries in shame and moves back to Aus , and sets his sights on becoming a aborigine ,they dont accept losers , so he is shamed into living in the outback and now just takes out kangaroos when they are in front of him on his moped* , as Suzuki has terminated his contract , and the best he can get now is a year to year contract with Vespa ! :D ;)

    i want
    1-reed
    2-k w
    3-short
DNS-stewart (tonya harding take out pre race)

everyone is going to be going for the win, its vegas. but there are only 2 that have a chance and the guy i dont want to win more than likely will. even if stewart (or reed, they are both that good IMO) goes down in the first turn and again halfway through the race he is still good enough to salvage a 3rd for the points win.

    +1

Speaking of Allesi, I pulled this from Racer X:

Here’s something to add to the plot: Guy B. just told me he ran into Mike Alessi and asked him what was going on last weekend, when he didn’t qualify, and he explained that his girlfriend Danielle’s grandfather had passed away, and they were very close, so he was off his game. He also said of the question on everyone’s mind, “I’m not helping Chad, I’m not helping James, I’m not helping anyone. I have spent the last three or four years trying to clean up my reputation after the Tedesco thing!” he said, referring to his forever-regrettable actions of Glen Helen ’05.
