    round 7 - thunder valley

a couple of surprises...one, reed was fastest in practice over rc by almost a second a lap. not that big of a deal but ricky typically let them know he's faster. my guess is with a point lead of 71 he's not about to take himself out of the championship with a crash during practice.

second, i didn't see any times for james...wasn't able to find any information about why that was the case. perhaps his injuries from last week were more severe than first thought.

    more to come...ken

250cc results...ricky wins both motos for another overall victory. kevin is a solid second overall with two second place moto finishes. chad finishes third.

stewart did not race. his personal physician did not give him medical clearance to race. this is do to possible head injuries suffered the previous race when he crashed into ricky. so, out of 14 motos, he's finished 6 of them. the interesting thing about motocross is that still is good enough to put him in the top 10 overall standings.

125cc results...ivan 1-1 for the overall, andrew short 2-2 for second, josh grant 4-5 for third.

it's good to see kevin start to get in a groove and be finishing where everyone expected him to on a regular basis. now that the tour de france is over perhaps OLN will find a way to show a couple of hours of motocross a week.
