I'm routing for Shorty and here's why...

I sent him an email explaining I found some intstructional vids he did, thanked him and wished him well for 2009.

Well, Shorty emails me back and thanks me for sending the message, tells me about how much fun he has helping others and doing instructionals and then tells me that his hopes are high for 2009 and that he's been working like mad on his weaknesses. How can you not be a fan of guy with that sense of humility?

Heck yea, Andrew Short is the man. I've admired his riding skills since he was on a 60. I knew back then that he was going to make it to national level. He has always been a great kid to talk to about the sport and still is a very approachable down to earth person. One of the nicest big names in the sport.

I think section 312 some thing like that it's in the nose bleed section El Cheapo tix. On the 50 yard line. It will be my 2 sons and me. Got my paperwork for my pit passes already also.

That is the kind of thing that makes you support a guy his entire career. Shorty is absolutely a class act .. the J-Laws of the world should watch some film on that aspect of their game!

Back in the 90's when Windham had the 125 #1 plate I was at his pits at a round at the LA Colosseum. His mechanic asks my son if he wants to sit on Kevin's bike (hell, I wanted to :))? Sets him on the bike and posses with him while I snap some photos ... been a Windham fan ever since :D

With Stewart and Reed on new bikes,Villapoto in the 450`s,the new Honda 450`s,wow what a great start to a new season. I just hope it doesn`t turn into a yawner. The outdoors should be good also.

I really don't think it will.

I hope we are all in for one of the best SX seasons in a long time.

Well if tonight was any indication of what we are in for this season it should be awesome!...wish Stewart and reed could have battled more....bummer they fell. Happy for Joe Gibbs racing though.

i've got my tickets for the ATL SX. I was wondering about what time do you get out of there? Time wise. I just want to make sure I don't miss the last train back to where I'll be parking.

You can get out close to 10pm if you don't stay for the interviews and such.

In case anyone's is interested, Broc Hepler broke his collar bone at A1. I spoke with his mechanic about it. He seemed pretty disgusted with Broc's luck.

To tell the truth, I didn't hear the thing. Usually you can pick those out right away. The free-style boys were using them and you could tell as well as see. The exhaust notes of the four strokes may have kept it drowned out??
