Alright guys I have a bike that has been a nightmare. I bought this bike not running. After a tremendous amount of work and hours of diagnosis the bike runs great.. when bump started. It will not even fire when trying to kick start. 

I have replaced the fuel pump, top end rebuild, CKP sensors/stator, ECU, and rectifier to get it to where it is today. I have triple checked both timing and valve clearance and there is no issue there. Bike runs like a bat out of hell and idles great after bump starting. 

This may be besides the fact since the bike will run but the kill switch seems to be inop. I need to stall the bike to turn it off. 

Any ideas are much appreciated. 

Have you tried starting it with the Enriching knob pulled ?? (the Idle knob) .... , even though you said Top End Rebuild ..... have you checked compression ??? , if it is low due to ring gap alignment or even a ring upside down , it would still run , but be hard to start

it sounds like you checked the fuel system ,what about the spark plug ?? was it replaced ?? , have you checked the spark plug cap ??? , it might be giving a weak spark at lower RPM , and I believe they have a resistor in them ,so it could be bad ......

The kill switch could be a factor as it is tied into the ECM ....
