New to the forum!

Well....did a number on my stock header pipe today running some technical single track. I'd be happy with another stock one.

Any chance anyone has one laying around they`d be willing to sell? Or a good deal on a direct replacement out there?

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

I would think , you would have the best luck on EBay , and for future protection , you know those Aluminum guards you always see on 2 stroke pipes ?? , they now have them for 4 strokes , and are fairly inexpensive , it might help prevent another ding when you find a replacement https://www.ebay.com/itm/DRC-4-Stroke-U ... 0#viTabs_0

As far as the header goes (I just searched EBay and found nothing) , not sure how bad the dent is , but have you tried freezing it ?? , you put water in it where the dent is , then stick it in the freezer so the dent is down , so the water is in that area completely , then let it freeze , keep checking it , and see if it pops the dent out ....worth a shot

Yea I tried ebay with no luck. That's interesting I never thought about trying to freeze it but unfortunately not only did I dent it, I bent the exhaust up right at the turn out of the cylinder. So she's done!

I found a stainless one on ebay for $60 bucks but I'm pretty leary about it as no name brand is shown.

Decisions decisions!

I believe the factory OEM header is stainless steel or titanium - I don't remember which it is. I think it's titanium.

Can you post a link to the one on EBay ?? , I saw 1 that said it was for a 08 , but it did not look like one to me , it also did not have the heat shield , as in no mounts for it either and had some funky clamp shield mount , and it just did not look like a stock pipe to me , so I did not mention it

It was this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-450R-Exh ... SwI-dbz93c

I ended up buying a fmf power bomb header.....should be here in a few days. Hoping no jetting will need to be changed. At 176 main and 42 pilot right now.
