    What's the best carb cleaner?

Gonna pull the carbs off my '08 CRF450R and my kids 2 '08 CRF250Xs. Anyone recommend one carb cleaner over another, and any gotcha's to watch out for? Someone had a link on here a while back, but when I tried it, it was unavailable. I bought the JD jet kits and the new CRFs only fuel screws for all three. I have one of the 250x carbs off now and the A/P rubber diaphragm looked good. Is there anything else I should look at or replace while I have it off? I have read this forum top to bottom and with my limited retention I recall most are pretty happy with the stock leak jets, float needles and A/P. Ken, the CRF store is awesome and shipping was lightning fast. "Knowledge is power" Thanks for this great resource and to all who contribute to it.

it's best to disassemble the carb when cleaning. once disassembled, carb cleaner or brake cleaner can be used as long as it won't make contact with any of the rubber seals/o-rings.
