So, you are thinking of getting that new '09 CRF450R. Yeah the one that's winning all of the 450 shootouts. That one. It's a sweet machine...no doubt about it. The question is what to do with your current CRF450R right? Sell it? Nah, Supermoto it!

    Here's a 2005 CRF450R that's gone through a radical supermoto conversion.

    That is so beautiful.
    Beautiful work.
Man, that black finish on the aluminum frame looks maybe ten times better than I would've imagined. Doug

Going supermoto with these bikes is a load of fun, especially when you plate them

Yeah Supermoto would be awesome, street legal would be better. Anyone converted a 450r to street legal in CA?

Getting a 450R legal in California is almost impossible.

They really are not the most streetable bikes(very tuned, overheat in traffic, and are loud as hell).

I enjoy it, but in Indiana it is much easier to plate.

Easiest way is to import something that is already legal or just buy a drz400.

Hey Ken, how about a closeup shot of that front radial brake mount. Did you have to replace the entire bottom clamp on the fork to mount that?

How does one remove the bottom clamp on a fork anyway? Press fit? Always kind of wondered about that.
