Either way you go....your throttle will be functional. A few things to think about though. If you use bark busters like the Pro Bends, and you get a metal one, make sure you get an open ended tube so that you don't have to hack saw the end off. I used a pipe cutter to cut the end off my metal throttle tube off and it pinched the end a bit (just enough to make it rub). Still works but with no snap back. I am replacing it (since I pretty much ruined it) with an open ended metal or open ended plastic throttle tube. If you don't use bark busters I would recommend closed ended billet or something similar because the closed ended design houses rollers/bearings that allow for much smoother operation and throttle snap back.[/b]
