gearing

I do a lot of trips to mexico and I am trying to gear my bike as low as possible so that at top speeds I am not killing my engine. I am thinking of going to a front sprocket of 15 and a rear of 45 (stock I think is 13/48) Does this sound too extreme or is it allright.

wow making a 450r faster youll be going 1000 mph lol thats legal in mexico lol

Do you think that is ok or will it bog the engine down too much

it might bog it down too much i suggest wait are you ordering the sprockets from a website or a store

from a store. I may just put a 15t on the front and leave the back alone. what do you think about that

if its from a store try it if it doesnt work return the sprocket and get a new 1

I would try the 15 first. That is the same as changing 7 in the back.
