You need more power from a 450? I'd love to see how you handle the power of a stock bike.

I believe you need to just run a bike stock with rejetting, intake mod's and gearing change's.....

    Dependability is the key...........

There is no such thing as enough power.

So i should take off my 490 kit, full exhaust, quickshot, gasflowed head, hotcam, twin airfilter and rev box and go back to stock and do some airbox mods and some re-jetting?

Well the 490 and the Stage 3 cam wouldn't be a good mix. The stage 3 is a mid to top end came, more so than the stage 2. The stage 3 is more suited to desert. I highly doubt that you'll need that much top on an MX track.
And the 490 kit loses some revs over stock so the cam is even more useless. You'd probably be better off going to a stage 1 cam with the 490.

It also sounds like with those mods you are into the bolt ons. All those items together are necessarily making the bike faster or giving you more power.
