    by schulteal » Thu Aug 16, 2007 7:24 pm

HEY CHECK THIS OUT I RECENTLY PULLED THE TOP END OF THE BIKE OFF AND SINCE I HAVE DONE THIS THE KICK START IS HARD TO KICK ONCE IN AWHILE ITS ALMOST LIKE ITS SEIZED UP. BUT WHEN I GO BACK UP TO THE TOP OF THE KICK ITS FINE KICKS OVER WITH OUT A PROBLEM. WHY WOULD THE KICK START BIND UP LIKE THAT?

Decompressor arm is sticking on the cam lobe. Apply a small amount of assembly lube to the decompressor arm (it's the little inertia arm that swings out of the way). Then apply a liberal amount of oil in that area.

Oh and I think your caps lock is sticking too, apply a little lube, and release! ;)
