    Your Bike Problems

    by dirtbikermicah » Fri Aug 10, 2007 8:04 pm

What I would do to fix you problem is:

    1) Re-Jet your bike, or just adjust the jets (you might be running it too rich, or too lean)

    2) Or it may just be a simple carburator adjustment, or something might be stuck in the carburator.

    3) Check, and change your oils, you dont want to be running the bike with no oil :(

    4) Adjust the fuel screw, you might not be getting enough gas to the carburator to keep the bike running.

but from when i watched the video i think it has to do with the Jetting, because your bike sounds like its starting and running good.

Hope it helps! if you have anymore questions, or if it dosent work please let me know! and i will contact back with you!

    Have a nice day!
PS: i had a similar problem you have

First off, let the bike warm up a touch and get some oil flowing BEFORE you put the coal to it!!!

Second, try opening up the fuel screw 1/2 turn or so and see if it improves.

Third, are you using the choke?

The R model isn't as restricted as the X model is and the jetting should be much closer to reality right from the crate.

doesn't look like you're cursing enough... these things really respond to obscenities being thrown at them...

but seriously, i had a 2 stroke bike do the same thing one time and it ended up being electrical... seems like i had to replace the whole stator assembly or something... can't remember and it's probably not right anyway...

My bike does the same thing at an idle on the stand. The revving thing could be something, could be nothing. There was nothing on the clip that demonstrated there was an issue.
