Hey, anybody out there have any good ideas on why my 450r might be overheating in tight single track? Beside the guy who might say that the R is not meant for trail riding, it sure is fun to kick rear in the woods. Here's the setup: crunched a radiator and just got a new one (stock), new Boyesen Hi flow water pump, Flatland radiator guards (without stock louvers installed), new radiator cap, and running Engine Ice as coolant. Put some temp strips on and the temp runs about 170 on the jeep trails and gets hot to 190 in tight single track. Overheats if there is any hesitation in the single track. Overheating to the point that its just not a little coolant but 1/4 of the radiator. I am typically riding at altitude with the jetting at the factory setting, which I believe is about sea level. Bike starts great and runs great, just doesn't seem to keep from spewing.
Thanks in advance.
