    Big Bore/Longer Stroke Conversion.

Hi i am just doing some investigating ready to hopefully use a CRF450 motor in a Sidecar. Most people are running the KTM but having had a CRF450 in 02 i know that it was a good, fast, reliable motor. Has anyone got a big bore kit or a long stroke crank on their 450? The bad bit is that its 75cc down on the KTM before we start but i'm not giving up on the idea yet.

I would be interested to find some links to some information quite fast because i was getting ready to sort this project for 2008 but the KX is getting a bit tired & there is a need to do this project sooner than later. Hopefully some of you will be able to help me in the right direction because i really dont want to see my mate out on a KTM if i can help it.

Go with the heavy version on the crank, smoother response.
